Percy and Luke dive into the River Styx and are struck by the "Curse of Achilles". Percy Jackson and his friends fight in a war resembling the initial war between the Greek gods and the Titans and a final battle with the powerful Titan, Kronos. This war also recalls one of Homer's stories, the Trojan war (it is one of Prometheus' comments on page 222 in the Last Olympian). They finally defeat Kronos and Olympus is saved. The Great Prophecy applies to Luke, and his great choice was to turn from the side of evil to the side of good, killing himself. Percy hands Annabeth's knife to Luke, who kills himself by hitting his "Achilles heel". The 'cursed blade' of the prophecy was the knife Luke gave to Annabeth. The gods grant Percy, Grover, Annabeth and Tyson one wish each. Tyson becomes General of the Cyclops army, and the weapon they grant at his request is a staff. Grover is given a place on the Clovenhoof Council of Elders and becomes the new Lord of the Wilderness. Annabeth becomes the official Architect of Oly
