Mitthu, being the friendly bird he was, landed on a tree and sang even louder, “Mitthi Mitthi, I am so sweet! Look at my red beak, isn’t it neat?” The children laughed and clapped, and soon they began to sing along with him. Everyone in the village was singing, and the air was filled with joy.Mitthu loved the attention, and the more the children sang with him, the more tricks he did. He twirled in the air, flapped his wings quickly, and even tried to balance on a small branch upside down! The children giggled so much that their bellies hurt.But as the sun began to set, Mitthu knew it was time to go back to his jungle. He flapped his wings and waved his little wing goodbye. The children shouted, "Come back soon, Mitthu!" And with a final "Mitthi Mitthi!" Mitthu flew back to the jungle, feeling like the happiest parrot in the world.
