Here’s a short scary story for you:Late one foggy night, Sarah was driving home from a friend’s party. The winding country roads were eerily quiet, and the only sound was the faint hum of her car engine. As she rounded a sharp corner, her headlights caught a figure standing on the side of the road. A man, tall and thin, with pale skin and hollow eyes, was staring directly at her.Startled, Sarah hit the brakes, but when she looked again, the man was gone. Shaking it off as a trick of the fog, she continued driving. A few minutes later, her car radio began to crackle, and she glanced in her rearview mirror.There, in the back seat, was the man--his hollow eyes fixed on her, a chilling grin slowly creeping across his face.Before she could scream, the car veered off the road and plunged into the woods. The last thing she heard before everything went black was his whisper: “You should have never stopped.”
