Come join a newsroom workshop to be trained to publish a newspaper in real time, with training in reporting, writing, editing, designing and proof reading, under the mentorship of veteran journalist and renowned media trainer Abhay Mokashi, who has trained hundreds of students over the years and is himself an established journalist. In the hands-on 26-hour workshop, you will learn to take quick decisions on which news should be cover and which should be ignored. Also, how to cover an event, what aspects to look into, who to contact and how to write your report. You will also learn how to use visuals and design the pages. The workshop will help you learn to write editorials, edit page and op-ed articles, as well as features. Above all, you will learn to work under pressure experienced, in the newsroom, by even seasoned journalists. Finally, you will become a firebrand journalist and more employable in the newspaper industry.
