THE TIBFAD A long time ago, there were two Italubin women who were supposed to go get a bamboo for making threads used in weaving. When they reached the river they had to walk on a manmade bridge made of wood (allat). The pregnant woman was the first to cross the allat not knowing that it was not a bridge but actually a giant snake. She then proceeded to cross the allat until she reached the head where she was suddenly swallowed by the Tibfad. Her friend who was in the middle was shocked and immediately went back on the shore of the river
