One was mine, the second stretched next to me, as if someone invisible was following me.I ran. The shadow caught up with me, its outlines became clearer. It stretched out, as if in a jump, and the next moment fell on me. Everything was swallowed up by darkness.When I came to, the park was empty. I felt neither pain nor fear, until I noticed: in the light of the lantern, I no longer had a shadow. I raised my head and saw it - my shadow was moving forward, living its own life, and leading someone new along my route.
