Late one night, Amelia sat alone in her grandfather’s dusty library, the dim light of a single lamp barely illuminating the room. As she flipped through an old, tattered book, she felt a chill creep down her spine. The pages began turning on their own, faster and faster, until they stopped on a drawing of an empty room. But as Amelia stared, the drawing began to change. Slowly, shadows emerged in the picture--elongated, humanoid forms with glowing, hollow eyes. A faint whisper filled the room. "We're watching..." Amelia froze. The shadows in the book began to move, stretching out as though trying to escape the page. She slammed the book shut, but the whispers grew louder, echoing all around her. The lamp flickered, and when it came back on, the shadows were no longer in the book. They were standing behind her.
